This is a recommended plan for students transfering from a two year college. It assumes that the student has completed all the lower division requirements for the B.S. in Physics--Applied Physics Option as listed in the CSUSB bulletin, except Physics 150. Students must also complete the General Education Requirements. Students entering with sufficient preparation in mathematics may be able to shorten their time to degree to 2 years. Transfer students are strongly urged to consult with a faculty member in the Department of Physics prior to taking any classes at CSUSB. Please note that the Department of Physics requires all physics majors to see a faculty advisor in the Department of Physics before registering in any upper division physics course (physics courses numbered 300 and above). Course availability is subject to budgetary restrictions.
