Fall BBQ
The Fall SPS barbeque was on Friday October 2nd, 2009, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Littlefield-Schultis Memorial Park.
NSWC
The SPS took a tour of the Joint Warfare Assessment Laboratory (JWAL) and Measurement Science Department Laboratory (MSDL) at the Corona Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) on September 4th. The tour was guided by CSUSB SPS physics alumus Vicente Guillen. See a picture at our pictures page in the recent trips section.

Physics Presentation
The SPS hosted a presentation by guest speaker Dr. John Baguasco on the topic, "A Survey of the Next Generation of Terrestrial Telescopes" on June 4th, 2009.
Zone Meeting and Symposium
We hosted the SPS Zone 18 Meeting and Spring Symposium on Saturday, April 11th, 2009. Thanks to all who attended and participated, especially to those who gave presentations.
