Racial disparities in imprisonment topic of next Conversations on Race and Policing
“Reducing Community Violence to Close the Racial Gap in U.S. Imprisonment” will be presented by Thaddeus Johnson, assistant professor of criminal justice and criminology at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University, beginning at noon Wednesday, April 16, on Zoom.

"Beyond Vietnamese and Chinese: Ethnic Identities Among the 'Boat People' Who Resettled in the United States," presented by Lisa Tran, will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 14, in person and on Zoom. “A Conversation with Guardian Senior China Correspondent Amy Hawkins and UC Irvine Professor of History Jeffrey Wasserstrom” will take place at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, on Zoom.

Isaac Abraham, Aaron Santos and Christopher Xavier were honored with a Silver ADDY Award at the March 21 gala for their campaign entry, “Coyote Radio Lunchtime Live,” in the Television Advertising Campaign category.

Many of the students who attended submitted their intent to become Coyotes in the next academic year.
