CSUSB students earned top awards at the 39th annual California State University (CSU) Student Research Competition held recently at Cal Poly Humboldt. Fourteen CSUSB students were selected to compete in the prestigious event, which showcases top student research from across the 23 CSU campuses.
Fourteen students will represent Cal State San Bernardino at the California State University (CSU) Research Competition, held on April 25-26 at Cal Poly Humboldt. The statewide competition brings together top scholars from the 23 CSU campuses in this prestigious academic showcase.
Super Sunday, the statewide outreach by the California State University, took place on Feb. 23 when the university system that includes CSUSB joined with Black and African American churches to talk about the transformational power of a college degree.
The California State University’s Super Sunday, set for Feb. 23, is an initiative that focuses on the importance of higher education. Black and African American congregations across California will receive presentations from CSU officials.
Students will develop their presentation and communication skills while demonstrating their scholarly achievements at the event, set for 9 a.m., in the Center for Global Innovation.
Gisela Bichler’s "steadfast, multi-faceted contributions to our campus and community have helped to transform the lives of countless students, further advancing CSUSB and Cal State University’s excellence in teaching, research, student support and community contributions,” said university President Tomás D. Morales.
The CSU’s Project Rebound, which includes the program at CSUSB, was honored by the American Society of Criminology with The President’s Award for Distinguished Contributions to Justice.
Alethea will serve as an academic coach to enhance student outcomes, helping students engage more deeply with course readings and elevate their learning skills. Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State LA are also participating in the early adoption of the software.
