CSUSB’s Science Success Center to host Fall Open House and Donuts with the Dean on Sept. 11

Open to all STEM students, the full-day event is designed to introduce attendees to the people, programs and resources that will support their academic and professional journey at CSUSB.

The grant from the U.S. Department of Education is aimed at increasing the number of Hispanic and low-income students who are from STEM courses.

CSUSB receives $4.9 million grant to increase Hispanics getting degrees in STEM fields

The five-year grant, “Proactive Approaches for Training Hispanics (PATHS) in STEM,” will help increase graduation rates and prepare students for graduate and professional schools.
