
The International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators accreditation signifies an agency’s ongoing commitment to excellence and state-of-the-art performance in every aspect of its operations.

Highlighting the events for the month will be the art exhibit, “What Were You Wearing?” which will be on display April 21-25 at the Santos Manuel Student Union North.

The CSUSB University Police Department’s overarching mission is campus safety, and through the years it has grown to meet the demands of two campuses, with a combined 460 acres, 60 buildings, more than 18,000 students and nearly 2,000 faculty and staff members.

The annual Day of Remembrance memorial honored the 14 people, including the five College of Natural Science alumni, who were among the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health employees killed on Dec. 2, 2015.

The community on and off campus are remembered those lost in the Dec. 15, 2015, mass shooting at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino. Of the 14 people who died that day, five were graduates of Cal State San Bernardino.

Fourteen people died in a mass shooting in San Bernardino on Dec. 2, 2015 – five of them CSUSB alumni – and all will be remembered during a memorial service at the university’s Peace Garden on Thursday, Dec. 2.

Brian Levin (criminal justice) was interviewed about security at the U.S. Capitol as law enforcement prepares for a Sept. 18 rally in Washington, D.C., and Anthony Silard (public administration) wrote about “The Challenge of Being Authentic in the Digital Age.”

CSUSB’s College of Natural Sciences will hold a Day of Remembrance event at 2 p.m. on Zoom to honor the memories of the individuals – including five alumni – who were killed five years ago during a mass shooting in San Bernardino.

Cal State San Bernardino’s University Police Department will conduct an Active Shooter Preparedness Drill on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 7 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. at around Jack H. Brown Hall.
