CSUSB’s Office of Pre-College Programs will host Instant Admit Day events for high school seniors in its programs on Oct. 18 and Jan. 24, offering on-the-spot admission to eligible high school students. Attendees will participate in workshops, get financial aid and application guidance, tour campus, and explore scholarships.
Qualifying high school seniors from six school districts in San Bernardino County will receive guaranteed admission to CSUSB, removing the initial application process for them, and increasing the college-going rate in the region.
CSUSB is continuing its partnership with Barstow Community College to make higher education more accessible to students in the High Desert region, offering four in-person general education courses for fall 2025 semester over two shortened seven-week inter-semester sessions. Enrollment is now open.
The university and the high school district, through a memorandum of understanding, will launch the High School University Program (HSUP), which allows qualified students to begin their college education before they graduate from high school.
