The donation by Anne and George Stoll, along with a $10,000 gift to the library’s Special Collections & University Archives — the largest monetary contribution in the department’s history — promises to enrich teaching and research at CSUSB well into the future.

The “Amplifying Unheard Voices from the Inland Empire” grant project culminates with 144 oral history interviews transcribed and archived on CSUSB ScholarWorks.

Eric Milenkiewicz, head of Special Collections and University Archives at the John M. Pfau Library, participated in the Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians presented by the Harvard University Graduate School of Education – Professional Development.

The projects are supported by California Revealed, a California State Library-supported program, and the John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation, a leading supporter of social science research for Los Angeles and the surrounding region.

Archives that include diaries, videos and artwork chronicling CSUSB campus life during the pandemic, is available online through CSUSB ScholarWorks.
