CSUSB is now accepting undergraduate applications for the Fall 2026 term, with a Dec. 2 deadline for pre-nursing majors and a Jan. 31 deadline for all other majors.

Abbas “Bobby” Quamar (center of the photo), associate professor of special education, rehabilitation and counseling at CSUSB, is developing the world’s first clinical assessment tool that measures how satisfied people with disabilities are when using internet-connected assistive devices (iCADs) with funding from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research.

The grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research will help test and validate a new tool called the Electronic Instrumental Activities of Daily Living Satisfaction Assessment (EISA). This innovative tool is the first of its kind and will make it easier for people with disabilities to use the latest internet-connected assistive devices.
