
The end of the CSUSB Anthropology Museum exhibit In|Dignity was officially marked with an original production based on those who contributed stories to it.

The university is one of 16 recipients will receive a portion of a $6 million grant from Kaiser Permanente Southern California.

Free tickets are required to attend West’s presentation at Coussoulis Arena on Jan. 25 . They will be available online beginning Jan. 2 via Eventbrite. His visit is sponsor by the CSUSB Associated Students Inc.

The event will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union Events Center, simulcast to the Palm Desert Campus at HS 106 and streamed live on Facebook.

The free event on Feb. 20 will feature panel presentations and a costume contest as part of the activities for the day.

The world premiere of the chamber opera “Spiritual Forest” by Japanese composer Koji Nakano will be presented by the Cal State San Bernardino Opera Theatre at the university’s Music Recital Hall.

Stuart Sumida (biology), Astrid Sheil (communication studies), Brian Levin (criminal justice), Kelly Campbell (psychology), and Jennifer Alford (geography and environmental studies) make the headlines.

California State University, San Bernardino will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, in observance of a state holiday commemorating the late civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr.
