
Cal State San Bernardino participated in the Inter-Tribal Education Collaborative’s 5th Annual College Exploration Day that took place at UC Irvine recently.

Enrique Murillo Jr. (education) was honored Saturday, Feb. 2, with the Friend of Children Award from the Diocese of San Bernardino Office of Catholic Schools.

The conference for area high school students, “Calling All Leaders: Speak UP, Speak OUT,” is set for Saturday, Feb.23.

Juan Battle will present “Africa, Refugees, and (Lack of) Tertiary Education: A Perfect Storm for Peril … or Progress!” at the banquet, which begins at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in the Obershaw Dining Room.

Pamela Lambert (theatre arts), Brian Levin (criminal justice) and Alemayehu G. Mariam (political science) were featured in news reports.
