Montgomery Van Wart, a CSUSB professor of public administration is one of 19 faculty members who will receive the CSU’s Faculty Innovation and Leadership Award for having demonstrated extraordinary leadership to advance student success.

One of the highlights of the Nov. 5 event was the presentation by the Carvajal/Hale family, founders of Optima Family Services, who gave a $10,000 scholarship to CSUSB student Sam Martinez.
