
Cal State San Bernardino’s Doctorate in Educational Leadership threw a gala mixer-party for all of its class cohorts at the "showcase" home of Professor Monty Van Wart, providing network opportunities for the 75 people in attendance.

Attendees will learn about career pathways into the comics industry, creative process discussions and writing advice -- and meet with professionals -- at the Comic Book Expo and Career Workshop on Thursday, Feb. 20.

A Hispanic Heritage Month look back: The Women of Color in Academia group at CSUSB hosted a panel discussion on Feb. 6 to highlight the recent works by tenure-track faculty members who are part of the organization.

Lane Shefter Bishop is not only a communication studies professor at CSUSB, she’s also an award-winning producer and director of an Emmy, six Telly Awards, three Communicator Awards, a Sherril C. Corwin Award, and a host of others.

When communication studies professor Lane Shefter Bishop isn’t in the classroom teaching her students, she is often on set directing a movie or producing a TV series. Her newest project, “Blood, Sweat and Lies,” debuts today.

In late January 2018, 20 cybersecurity students from Cal State San Bernardino headed for Washington, D.C., for the competitive Internship/Job Fair. All landed jobs or internships.
