The free program, presented on Zoom, is open to the public and will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6. Conversations on Race and Policing, which began after the murder of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, and its aftermath, enters its fourth year.
Michael German, a Fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice’s Liberty & National Security Program, and Arie Perliger, professor and director of security studies at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, will engage in a conversation with Brian Levin, director of CSUSB’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism. The program is set for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, on Zoom.
The panel on Sept. 23 will feature Vida Johnson, associate professor of law at Georgetown University; Michael German, former FBI special agent and now a fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice’s Liberty & National Security Program; and Sam Levin, Los Angeles correspondent for The Guardian.
