The two new officers are the first to be recruited as CSUSB students to join the university police department under a partnership with the department and the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

Michael German, a Fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice’s Liberty & National Security Program, and Arie Perliger, professor and director of security studies at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, will engage in a conversation with Brian Levin, director of CSUSB’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism.
