The Center for Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies (CIMES) at Cal State San Bernardino will host a teach-in, “Palestine Is Still the Issue,” on Thursday, May 24, from 6-7:40 p.m., at the university’s College of Education building, room CE-105.

“The Truth: Lost at Sea,” will be shown at 6 p.m. in the College of Education, room CE-105, followed by a question-and-answer session with film director Rifat Audeh.

The panel, with Dr. Yasser Abu Jamei, a Palestinian psychiatrist and director of the Gaza Community Mental Health Programs, and Liliana Conlisk-Gallegos, professor of communication studies, will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 13, in CE-105 at 6 p.m.

Omar Offendum will present “Syrianamericana: A Nation-State of Mind” at the Santos Manuel Student Union Events Center. The event is free, but tickets, available on Eventbrite, are required.

Following the showing of the movie on Feb. 19 in the John M. Pfau Library, CIMES will host a question-and-answer session with the film’s director, Lena Khan.
