
For the third time in four years, the History Club/Alpha Delta Nu Chapter at Cal State San Bernardino has been named the best chapter in the nation by the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society.

The university will receive its award in Category 2 – Cloud Storage. Winners will be recognized during the EDUCAUSE Annual Meeting in Philadelphia on Nov. 2.

Kathryn Ervin, a professor in the Cal State San Bernardino’s Department of Theatre Arts, will be one of only 10 people inducted into the College of Fellows of the American Theatre in April 2018 in Washington, D.C.

Terry Rizzo, a professor in the kinesiology department, was honored at the American Kinesiology Association’s conference earlier this year for his outstanding leadership and service.

The program that was recognized paid tribute to San Bernardino in the aftermath of the North Park Elementary shooting in 2017, focusing on the good things in the community.
