Morales and Palm Desert Campus Dean Jake Zhu participated in the program, “Destination Talent Coachella Valley – The New Realities in Higher Education,” hosted by OneFuture Coachella Valley and the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. The program was originally livestreamed Jan. 25.

The California State University, including a CSUSB delegation led by university President Tomás D. Morales, is meeting virtually this week with state legislators to discuss issues affecting the 23-campus university.

More than $61,000 was raised by 300 donors. The goal this year was to raise enough funds to provide 50 students with $1,000 scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year.
