The study, written by Daniel MacDonald and Yasemin Dildar, assistant professors of economics, was awarded the 2017 Best Local Government Affairs Effort in the Government Affairs category by the National Association for Home Builders.
Francisca Beer, a professor of accounting and finance, was honored for her work in promoting and facilitating student scholarly research and creative activities.
Manuel Paul, who graduated in 2017 with a degree in physics, is a recipient of the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. He credits CSUSB for preparing him for post-graduate studies.
CSUSB is one of nine schools chosen for the All of Us Research Program funding. The program seeks to build a national research cohort of 1 million or more participants reflecting the diversity of the United States.
CSUSB’s Office of Student Research is collaborating with Riverside City College for the recently funded National Science Foundation grant project, STEM en familia: Guiding Critical Transitions to the Baccalaureate.
